POSITION: HEAD, QUANTITY SURVEY
We are an indigenous construction company with head office in Abuja and project sites in various cities in the Country.
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate for immediate employment to head our Quantity Survey department. The person must possess he following:
· A good honor degree or its equivalent in Quantity Surveying with minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a reputable construction company or Consultancy firm.
· Membership of te Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) and Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) will be an added advantage
· Be able to monitor project cost against Budget and prepare claims
· Have proven experience skills in project management
· Have an understanding of the tender process and preparation of tender documents for domestic sub contractors
· Be an outstanding manager and strategic planner
· Be computer literate and ability o use relevant Quantity Surveyors software’s
· Have excellent reporting skills
· Have the ability to prepare and submit quotations/bills of quantities
· Sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products needed for construction
· Need to perform liaison with domestic sub contractors and other parties involved in the projects.
