Business Association Recruiting for Various Vacancies

A country-wide business association urgently requires:

DIRECTOR-GENERAL (D-G)
The ideal candidate must:
• Be energetic, resourceful, creative, highly disciplined, frugal with resources and able to work under pressure;
• Have a degree in Economics and a post-graduate/masters degree in Humanities;
• Have cognate work experience which must include at least 10 years at the decision-making level in the public or private sector of the economy.
• Such experience in a business/professional membership organisation shall be an advantage;
• Have a good knowledge of the business environment in Nigeria;
• Be fluent in at least two (2) main Nigerian languages.
• Age: between 45 and 60.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - LIAISON OFFICE(ABUJA)
The ideal candidate must:
• Possess similar requirements as above;
• Have cognate work experience which must include at least 3 years at the decision making level in the public or private sector of the economy and;
• Be resident in Abuja
• Age: between 35 and 45.

PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER (PRM)
The ideal candidate must:
• Possess a good degree in English Language or Mass Communication;
• Have worked as a journalist or a public relations practitioner for at least seven (7) years;
• Be able to work under pressure as well as respond to media issues with clear thoughts and;
• Be member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
• Age: between 30 and 45.

PRINCIPAL RESEARCH OFFICER
The ideal candidate must:
• Possess similar requirements as in 1 (a), (b) and (d) above ( read I in abc order);
• Have cognate work experience which must include at least 5 years as Research Officer in the public or private sector of the economy.
• Age: between 25 and 35.

Candidates for all positions must be computer literate and able to analyse Nigeria's economic activity and how it affects the country in general and the association in particular.
Successful candidates must be willing/ready to resume work within 30 days of interview.
