JOB DESCRIPTION:
Software/ Electronics Engineer needed to join the DATACOM group in Gilat responsible for developing acceleration mechanisms for IP protocols via satellite communication
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in working with communications protocols - mandatory
• Extensive knowledge in: VoIP, HTTP, TCP/IP, QoS mechanisms - mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of Routers and Switches (principles and protocols) - mandatory
• At least 3 years experience in writing code with C language - mandatory
• Background in VxWorks and Linux operating systems - mandatory
• Background in working in a communications company in the cordless, cellular, or cables fields - advantage
