Academic Staff Requirements
PROFESSORS
• Ph.D. degree with specialization in the discipline applied for.Evidence of academic leadership in terms of publication, project design etc with at least 12 year post qualification full time relevant teaching and research experience.

READERS
• Same as Professor but with at least 10 years of post qualification full time relevant teaching and research experience.

SENIOR LECTURERS
• Same as Professor but with at least 5 years experience of teaching and research in University or comparable institution.• Candidates who have M.Sc degree with considerable relevant experience may in some exceptional cases be considered.

LECTURER I
Ph.D. degree from a reputable University with a minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience in a University, research institute and evidence of scholarly publications. Candidates who have M.Sc degree with considerable relevant experience may in some exceptional cases be considered.

LECTURER II
• Ph.D. degree in the indicated discipline.• Holders of an M.Sc. degree with considerable relevant experience will be considered.

ASSISTANT LECTURERS
• M.Sc degree in the indicated discipline.• Evidence of ability to proceed to the Ph.D programme will be an advantage.

LIBRARIAN II
• Candidates must possess MLS.• Knowledge in computer operations will be an advantage.

ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
• Candidates must have a BLS Degree in Library Studies and evidence of NYSC discharge certificate.

ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
• A good honours degree from a recognized University or its equivalent plus at least 3 years post qualification relevant experience in a University or comparable institution.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
• Candidates must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University plus a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
• A good honours degree in Mass Communication, English Language or Law is preferred of Public Relations Officer.

FINANCE / ACCOUNTING OFFICER
• Senior Accountant Candidates should possess a good University degree in Accountancy plus 4 years cognate experience or ACA, ACCA, ACMA plus at least 6 years post qualification cognate experience.
ACCOUNTANTS I AND II
• Interested candidates must possess a good honours degree in Accountancy from a recognized University or ACA. ACCA, ACMA plus NYSC discharge certificate in the case of Accountant II and 3 years experience in the case of Accountant I.
PRINCIPAL TECHNOLOGIST
• Candidates must in addition to acquiring the required certificates must have worked in an institution of higher learning for not less than 8 years.
• Evidence of maturity, supervisory ability and knowledge of the scientific tools will be required.
SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST
• Same as Technologist I but with not less than 6 years experience in a University or comparable higher institution.

TECHNOLOGIST I
• Same as Technologist II
• A post qualification experience in a university or a comparable higher institution will be an advantage.

TECHNOLOGIST II
• Candidates must possess HND/HNC in a relevant field plus NYSC discharge certificate plus B.Tech/final Diploma of the Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).
SECRETARIAL STAFF
• HND Secretarial Studies plus computer proficiency and NYSC discharge certificate.
• A working cognate experience of not less than 3 years will be an advantage.
LIBRARY OFFICER
• Candidates must possess HND in Library Studies.
• Working experience in a University or comparable Institution will be an advantage.
HOSTEL SUPERVISOR
• Candidates must be married and must have a degree or HND in Public Administration from a recognized Institution.
• Evidence of previous experience in University or comparable institution will be an added advantage.
