Job Title: RESEARCH ANALYST
Department: Marketing and Strategy
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- Interface with business units and agencies on research project
- Conduct both desk and consumer surveys and business operation dictate from time to time
- Analyse raw data, write and interpret research reports for internal studies and summarise external ones
- Disseminate information to the relevant parties in simply and actionable format
- Manage inter departmental relationships within marketing division
- Coordinate research requirements for different business units
- Track economic, market, industry and competitive trends to provide business insights
- Liaise with agencies to analyse and report research results for both qualitative and quantitative studies
- Identify and apply new global tools, methods and approaches in market research
- Train and guide Internal Stakeholders in the use of research tools and systems
- Build analytical tools/models for use in the formulation of research analysis
- Develop strategies to foster retention of high value segment of the market
- Ensure reduction of wait time for analysis, to enable the business to make decisions faster. Thereby reducing costs due to delays in making a decision.
- Enable the team to take on more work and provide better internal customer care. This will in turn result in increased usage of information for fact based decisions making.
Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions Local travel usually on short notice
Reporting To: RESEARCH MANAGER
Required Skills:
4 years work experience including:
- 2 years in a similar role in Marketing or Finance
- Work experience in a research or consultancy environment will be an added advantage
Employment Status : Permanent
Qualification:
First degree in Statistics/Economics or any social sciences MSc / MBA would be an added advantage
