JOB SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES / OUTPUT:
-Understand and apply PwC audit methodology and risk management processes -Design and agree assignment terms and scope in line with PwC standards and procedures -Perform audit tasks and testing of more complex financial statements areas -Assessment of organisation’s internal controls and recommending value adding improvements -Preparation of high quality reports -Review of financial statements -Manage audit team including the coaching and development of subordinate staff -Provide honest and timely feedback to staff -Monitor costs against budgets -Assisting audit managers to prospect for business and prepare proposals -Managing client relationships on assignments
COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
-Detailed understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International standards on Auditing (ISA) -Accounting qualification from a recognised professional institution CPA,ACCA -Proven competence in the use of Information Technology -Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills -Demonstrated ability to work independently in a challenging environment -Ability to handle multiple concurrent engagements -Effective delegation skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams -Integrity and commitment to client service -Negotiation skills -Energy and enthusiasm -Discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality - Experience in Financial Services or in Oil & Gas.
