ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Within the health sector as elsewhere, civil society organisations (CSOs) serve as critical health delivery resources in communities. They create awareness, generate demand for services, disseminate information, promote health-seeking behaviour; facilitate commodity distribution; referrals; provide community home based care and generally act as linkages between the facilities and clients. The contribution of the HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria (ATM) CSO networks especially, in the successes recorded in the ongoing Global Fund Round 5 grants implementation has been documented.
