A large independent local Telecom subcontractor specialized in installation of Turn-key cell phone tower installations for major GSM operators in Nigeria.
Job description
The company is searching for a telecom project coordinator for Nigeria. The project coordinator reports directly to the roll out manager. The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Global responsibilities
- Set the projects execution plans, track, monitor and lead to completion.
- Set the contractors Scope of Work and Material Specifications.
- Validate the contractor's invoices for achieved works.
- Participate in giving engineering solutions for cost reduction.
- Coordinate daily works for Sites construction & projects engineer. Follow up responsibilities
- Supervise the Implementation Project life Cycle on daily basis interaction.
- Supervise the project Documentation and records.
- Supervise the projects cost/expenses and track budget.
- Supervise projects reporting and progress updates.
- Supervise time lines.
- Supervise the implementation projects execution internally and externally through contractors.
Qualifications et experience
- B. Sc. In Electrical, Civil or Communication Engineering
- 5 years plus for Telecom Field project management including
- construction, acquisition and telecom experience.
- Project Management, Leadership and Organization Skill
- Ability to identify key issues and establish priorities.
- Multi-Tasking Management. Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities.
- Strong target orientation,
- Leadership, delegation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Dynamic, entrepreneurial and creative.
- Loyal, trustworthy and hard working.
- Management capabilities with leading teams. Computer skills
